Innovative design enables a reduction of the balance\u2019s footprint, so it occupies less space in the laboratory\u00a0but retains the highest level of performance. A single piece of extruded aluminum forms the balance base. The aluminum provides superior thermal transfer for a more regulated temperature, while the solid core is rigid, offering greater stability and enabling highly repeatable results. The weighing system is fabricated using\u00a0hardened materials, helping the Nimbus tolerate rigorous laboratory use. Crafted from a single block, the weighing sensor in the Nimbus contains fewer parts than a traditional force motor balance.
